Survey on NLOS Identification and Error Mitigation for UWB Indoor Positioning

Ultra-wideband (UWB) positioning systems often operate in a non-line-of-sight (NLOS) environment. NLOS propagation has become the main source of ultra-wideband indoor errors. As such, how to identify and correct errors key problem that must be solved high-accuracy technology. This paper firstly describes influence path on localization accuracy generation method signals, secondly classifies analyzes currently available algorithms for identification error suppression. For NLOS, residual analysis judgement method, statistical feature class machine learning geometric are discussed. suppression errors, weighting-based methods, filtering-based line-of-sight reconstruction algorithms, neural network optimization methods with constraints, tracing Finally, we conclude point out problems need positioning.
